There are two construction projects to watch out for in the Lansing area right before the weekend. First, in Haslett and Okemos, according to WILX, the intersection of Haslett Road and Okemos Road is being repaved. The project began Thursday. Also, Okemos Road from Central Park Drive to Lake Lansing Road is also being repaved and the work will continue Friday.

Next, MDOT is doing a lot of work on the I-69 business loop which is Saginaw Highway as well as Marsh Road at the Old M-78/ I-69 intersections. The work they are doing is mostly resurfacing as well as installation work and repairs. But the big thing to keep in mind during the construction is that there will be some traffic changes. You will not be able to turn left onto southbound Marsh Road from Saginaw hwy. Also there will be no northbound or southbound Marsh Road traffic permitted through the intersection. The road work will be going on until November 11th, so be mindful when coming to this area or just avoid it, but check out more on it here.
