Cardi B and Offset Sued by Fan Who Was Attacked by Bodyguards

Last week's beautiful Met Gala took an ugly turn when a fan hounding Cardi B and Offset for autographs was attacked by their bodyguards. On Wednesday (May 16), TMZ reports the victim, Giovanni Arnold, filed a lawsuit against the hip-hop power couple.

Arnold claims he was at The Mark Hotel just after 2 AM on May 8—outside a Met Gala after-party—when Cardi walked out and shouted at him, "F*** outta here n****, I will slap the s*** out of you."  He says he "expressed disappointment with being ignored." Shortly after Offset, who was with his fiancee, said, "Shut up, bro, before a n**** beat you out here."

According to the lawsuit, Arnold says he tried to de-escalate the situation, but three bodyguards quickly started assaulting him. He didn't fight back and focused on protecting his body. He went to a hospital and says he suffered injuries to his face, neck, back and body.

“If you check my tag pics i take a lot of pics with fans .Some people are not fans &sometimes i don’t want no pics and i simply don’t want people too close cause of [my pregnancy],” she wrote. “i don’t know what are people’s intentions sooo i Be careful .Why can’t people respect that?”
