Body Found In Trunk of Car In Corunna

Police were called to Mitchell Field early Thursday morning regarding a vehicle in the parking lot. Authorities obtained a search warrant, Friends and Community Shiawassee News and Views reports, and discovered the body of a deceased person in the vehicle's trunk.

Corunna Police and the Shiawassee County Sheriff's Department initially responded, but Michigan State Police have now taken over the case which is being called a homicide investigation.
