Gallery: Blue Owl Coffee In Reo Town Serves The Best Vibes
I think I am ready to relocate to Reo Town.
Let me start off by saying that Lansing itself is so diverse and has so many neighborhoods, it's amazing.
I love me some Old Town. Meat, The Creole, Bad Annies, The Grid. I could go on and on. I haven't even started talking about all the art and music that's there.
But I really have to spend more time in Reo Town.
I mean, they've got their share of art too. How could you miss it?
And their share of food spots too.
Good Truckin, Saddleback, and the reason for today's lovefest.
My new favorite coffee obsession.
Come for the coffee, stay and chill for the vibes.
I was in Reo Town last week and honestly stopped by Saddleback to see if they had some of those WuWings t-shirts. They didn't. I would come back to check later. I had parked on the corner right by Blue Owl Coffee Co. and as I was headed back to the car I thought to myself that I had never been inside (this one or the other one in East Lansing).
I decided I would venture inside and see what was up. I'm glad I did.
The interior of the place, the staff, the feeling of chill. It was just a super cool vibe for a coffee shop. Folks at tables in quiet discussions. Hushed but cool. Lots of people on laptops with headphones. Some working. Some just enjoying their day. A clientele that looked engaged in conversations about important stuff. Discussing art, business, life. Modern, hip, cool, and nowhere near pretentious.
Man, I haven't even got to the coffee yet.
The art on the Michigan wall. The art on the bathroom walls.
I took some pictures. Take a look. And more importantly, go visit. Support a great local business. See and feel what I'm talking about when you walk in there. I've been a couple of times on a weekday afternoon and it was amazing. I can only imagine what an early weekend morning in here is like. On my next day off, I'm thinking about grabbing a book and a cup of Loco Cocoa at Blue Owl in Reo Town.
You should check it out.
