25th Annual Lansing JazzFest Happening All Weekend

Here's another fun and musical event to check out this weekend all over Lansing's Old Town. It's the 25th annual Lansing JazzFest which will be taking place on the streets of Old Town Lansing starting Thursday August 1st. The festival will feature dozens of performers that will be playing all afternoon and evening, as well as other events and even workshops for kids to learn.

Along with checking out some great music, you can also stroll around the Capital City’s art galleries, check out unique retail stores, and see some grand architecture. Its stages will offer outstanding talent, from local favorites to regional and national acts, including many appearing for the first time in Lansing. Along with the music and workshops, they of course have some food as well as craft vendors, an expansive beverage tent, and so much more. They had about 5,000 people show up last year and expect an even bigger audience this year.

The Lansing Jazz Festival will be happening on August 1st - 3rd, with performances starting at 7pm (Thursday), 6pm (Friday), and 4pm (Saturday).
