Eligibility is changing quicker than ever. They are saying that by summer, we could be posting some impressive numbers and inching closer to herd immunity.

At the current pace of about 2 million shots per day -- the latest seven-day average of doses administered reported by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention -- the US could reach herd immunity by summer through vaccinations alone. It will likely be even sooner, if factoring in individuals who may have some natural immunity due to prior infection. (CNN)

Now let me be clear. I am down to get a shot. Actually signed up with the Ingham County Health Department to find out when I can get mine and they will let me know.

I'm willing to go on a waiting list. I'm willing to go get leftover vaccines at a clinic, hospital, Walgreens, CVS. I'm willing to get a shot at a drive through vaccination event.

I got a Covid test from the folks at Sparrow in a converted Sears garage.

However, those were certified healthcare professionals. And I would say the same for pharmacists at a CVS or Walgreens.

I don't know if I'm going to feel the same and want to run to a Dollar General to get a Covid shot.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says it is looking to partner with Dollar General to accelerate the rollout of the coronavirus vaccine in rural areas.

This comes amid concerns Americans who do not live near major chains or pharmacies will not be able to get the shot. (WILX)

I'm just wondering WHO at the DG is going to be giving me my shot. If you've got certified healthcare professionals on duty there then fine. But if you're telling me you're training folks who already work there to do this, that's a hard pass.

Some folks look like they didn't want to come in to work the register. I don't know if I can trust them to give me a proper Covid shot.

Deals on cleaning supplies and the like, absolutely.

Shots to save me from the pandemic, not so much.

I know you can't be picky in times like this but, I'm gonna make this one my last resort.

It's just me and I'm just saying.

I know I'm not the only one thinking it.
