We would like to first Fall Welcome all Freshmen in the class of 2021 which just moved in this past weekend. Classes start on Wednesday and there are a few new things on campus as well as some interesting details on this new Freshmen class.

First more than 8,000 incoming Freshmen arrived on the MSU campus this weekend, which puts it on track to become one of the largest in it’s history.

Next, GO GREEN!, you will notice Michigan State and the campus will be going more Green. The new car ports and covers that line a few parking lots on campus which are solar powered and help to keep the campus energy responsible.

There are also some new buildings and residence halls in and around the campus. "1855 Place" is a huge and brand new residence hall adding 429 student housing units and it will also give fans a new experience during MSU Spartans sports.

In addition, Spartan Stadium is getting new permanant lights put in so they don't have use temporary ones. Plus the Breslin Student Events Center, is in the middle of a renovation project that includes the addition of the Tom Izzo Hall of History, which is expected to debut this fall.

Also ELPD was busy this weekend with traffic as well as the normal complaints about noise, but ELPD were on top of things not only this weekend but will be seen all around campus and East Lansing this week.
