Just A Heads Up….Mackinac Bridge To Close Labor Day

This doesn't happen often, but for the first time in the 60 years tons of people have been walking across the Mighty Mac on Labor Day, but this year they will walk alone.

On Labor Day, the Mackinac Bridge will be shut down to ALL traffic starting at 6:30AM and lasting until Noon. The local authorities are nervous of an incident with cars and people on the bridge this year......so, all 60,000 walkers will have the bridge to themselves. Plan accordingly.
