What To Check Out This Weekend
First, this is happening in Old Town, Arts Night Out, it kicks off at 5pm and you can check out how the shops in Old Town turn into galleries and art exhibits. Plus you can be apart of it, more here.
The East Lansing Film Festival kicks off Friday Nov. 4th and runs through Nov. 14th. You can check out the full schedule of films and locations here.
Next, happening on Sunday at the Woldumar Nature Center, its the Run-A-Muck 5k. The 5K event will begin at 9:30am on Woldumar’s central campus and make its way through the scenic trails. More here.

On the Michigan State campus, Spartans Football are in action at Noon at Spartan Stadium taking on Penn State. Penn State is ranked in the top 10 and could be another big win for the Spartans this year. Along with Spartans football, the Michigan State Women's Basketball team is also in action on Sunday. Also on campus at the Abrams Planetarium, its the Spartan Young Astronomer Club from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and is for kids ages 8-12 who are curious and love learning about astronomy. Must have a parent present.
On Sunday, the Lansing Train Show and Sale, held at the Michigan State University (MSU) Pavilion with over 500 tables of new models, toy trains, artwork, collectibles, DVDs, books, railroad artifacts, and much more. Tickets are $6, more here.
