Alert: Major Ice Cream Recall Hitting the state of Michigan

Who doesn't love some ice cream to top off the end of the day? How about the middle of the day? Heck, maybe to even start the day? It's a definite summer favor, however, there is a recall hitting store shelves that you should be aware of.

There are concerns of plastic bits being sold in these tubs of ice cream, so it is best to check the freezer and see what you may have.

Major Ice Cream Recall Hitting the state of Michigan

The recent recall was done by Wells Enterprises after ice cream had been distributed from one of their factories. There are 22 different ice cream flavors, as well as froen yogurt that are being placed under this recall.

The ice creams being recalled, have a best by date from March of 2026 to October of 2026. These products were distributed across the United States, in stores across the country.

The initial recall was initiated after concerns that there were plastic bits inside of the ice cream. This was then classified as a Class II recall, which means this could cause temporary or irreversible health consequences. The risk of any true serious harm is considered obsolete at this point. There are also no injuries reported from the products at this point either.
