Watch John Stewart Announce His Departure from The Daily Show [VIDEO]

It's not THE greatest tragedy of our time, but, it's definitely up there.

John Stewart has announced that he's leaving The Daily Show.  Trying to imagine The Daily Show without John Stewart is liking trying to imagine Talk Soup without John Hensen.

Anybody remember that show?  Is it still on?  I dunno, I couldn't watch it after John Hensen left.

Anyway, most certainly, we will see much more of John Stewart.  The man is immensely talented.  We'll standby for new news, including an official "last day."
