These Christmas Hallmark Movie Parodies Hit The Nail On The Head

It's that time of year again! Time for the Hallmark Channel to release a deluge of Christmas movies that all follow pretty much the exact same formula. You know the formula... A woman who is a big shot in the city goes back home to the small town she grew up in and unexpectedly falls in love. Or if they want to mix it up a little the woman is engaged but the guy she is with is a huge douche, but she comes across an old flame and they rekindle their relationship.

So, we thought that since all of these movies are pretty much the same, that we would share some of our favorite Hallmark Christmas movie spoofs and parodies with you.

Let's kick it off with a spoof that probably has the highest production quality because it was from Saturday Night Live.

Next up is the inspiration for this post.  We came across this viral spoof of Hallmark Christmas movies on Facebook and it's probably our favorite.

This next parody is from Aphotic Productions and pretty much follows the Hallmark Christmas movie formula exactly.

The next parody is what a Hallmark Christmas Movie would look like if they acknowledged the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this Hallmark Christmas movie, we follow a "business woman" who is doing business in her home town.

And finally, here is another very formulaic Hallmark Christmas Parody from Mixed Nuts.
