Even if you didn't watch his journey personally, I'm sure you've at least heard about it by now...

Local musician Joshua Davis auditioned for NBC's singing competition show "The Voice", made it on to the show, and made it to the end as a finalist! Despite being freaking AMAZING, sadly Davis didn't come away with the big "W". Nonetheless, Davis kicked some major musical butt and made Michiganders proud in the process! And according to The Lansing State Journal, you can expect to see the Michigan native performing live at The Wharton Center later this month.

Davis' show is set for June 26th, so coming up pretty soon here. It promises to be an interesting show, with Davis not only performing some solo songs, but also performing along-side his former Lansing bandmates, 'Steppin' In It'. If you've ever seen Steppin' In It perform before, you know you're in-store for a real treat!

Tickets for the show are on sale right now via The Wharton Center website. Or, you can purchase tickets over the phone by calling (517) 432-2000. If you want to see Joshua Davis perform live, I'd recommend getting your tickets as soon as possible... I have a feeling that they are going to go pretty quickly. I mean, who doesn't want to see an awesome musical performance AND a local celebrity?!?

To give you a little taste of what you could be in store for, here is a video of Davis performing his original song, "The Workingman's Hymn" for "The Voice" finale. Enjoy!
