Unemployed workers in Michigan are set to receive a significant boost in their unemployment benefits, following the recent approval of legislation by the Michigan Senate.
Some unemployed Michiganders have already started receiving their $300. Others have not. As a matter of fact, some Michiganders are not receiving any benefits at all.
According to a release from the state of Michigan, the "Michigan Unemployment Agency (UIA) has already provided an estimated 820,000 unemployed Michigan workers $1.37 billion in benefits.
