I went on a walk at Hawk Island on Thursday with my girlfriend and my dog and we noticed that some of the path was still badly flooded.

The United States National Weather Service in Grand Rapids is forecasting a powerful storm moving through Michigan beginning late Tuesday night through Wednesday, with a second potentially powerful system moving through over the weekend.

Rain overnight has caused some flooding in the Mid-Michigan area. Give yourself some extra time this Thursday morning.

We are going through a little freeze down now after some snow this weekend, but expect some warmer temps and more snow coming back in a few days.

Michigan winter is here and we all know when the snow falls that driving tends to get a little hectic and apparently we aren't the worst place to drive in during the winter

There is potential to be heavy rain for the Lansing-Area tonight and much of Mid-Michigan could be seeing it as well with the potential to flood.
