St. Patrick's Day is a celebration that takes place world-wide every year on March 17th. A celebration of Saint Patrick, a man who is recognized for his extensive missionary works...and introducing alcohol to Ireland! Everyone dons green garb (lest you get pinched!), partakes in Irish festivities, and some indulge in some green beer. Lucky for Grand Ledge, they get to celebrate early!

I was looking up things to do and places to go for St. Patty's Day, and saw that Grand Ledge is beginning their festivities this Friday! According to the Grand Ledge Area Chamber of Commerce, tomorrow you can enjoy various Irish entertainment ranging from a bagpipe and drum band to traditional Irish dancers. And Saturday, there are a load more activities! A parade that includes bagpipers and candy, more Irish entertainment, an Irish Stew cook-off, and a pub crawl that goes on all throughout the day. Some something for every to enjoy. The parade starts at 2 p.m. in downtown Grand Ledge.

If you'd like to get your Green on early, you can check out all the info you need for St. Patrick's Day, HERE! You can even set up an email reminder (how cool is that?).
