Come Friday September 24th, our Lugnuts will step aside for some true legends to take the field in what is sure to be ONE HECK OF A CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME.

Celebrities? Like who?

This one is going to be fun and the lineup so far has got some Major Michigan sports legends on both teams.

The Legends Celebrity Softball Game presented by Shaheen Cadillac will be held on Friday, September 24th! Athletes expected to participate include TJ Duckett, Mateen Cleaves, Darren McCarty, Billy Sims, Nate Robertson, and More! (MILB)

We've got some former MSU Spartan football players, Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings too. That's just a handful with more to be announced.

And if you peep the lineup a little bit closer, you'll definitely see some local media personalities from WILX NEWS 10, The Lansing State Journal, and even right here at Townsquare Media Lansing.

While we're talking sports legends, Dave "Mad Dog" Demarco is a member of the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame.

So we've got some heavy hitters and more to come.

There will be a VIP meet and greet (from 5p - 6p) as well as a general public version (from 6p - 6:30p).
