Santa and Elf Fired from Mall for Turning Away Autistic Girl and Pit Bull Service Dog

The Shops at Mission Viejo in California got a visit from the Grinch on Sunday.  The mall's Santa and elf refused to see a young girl because of her service dog, a pit bull.

The Examiner reports that when the family removed the dog from the situation, Santa and the elf still refused to see her.

The mall moved swiftly in removing Santa and the elf from their gainful employment on account of, as it turns out, they were not qualified for their respective jobs -- perhaps their hearts were two sizes too small.
