***UPDATE***

We told you about this back in August. It went on sale on September 23rd and promptly sold out IN 7 HOURS. And Spam said that's it. They won't be making anymore. They were being sold in 2 packs for 8.98 online via Spam and Walmart. (WXYZ)

Two things. One, it's too early for this. And two, this is too far. Way too far.

Several sources are reporting that this fall, Spam will be adding a new flavor to its ranks. And depending on your flavor palate, either you're super stoked or grossed out just thinking about it.

You may be asking yourself why? And we're gonna counter with why not? Do you know how many varieties/flavors of Spam there are? Teriyaki, Chorizo, hot & spicy. Honestly, I had no idea.

And soon, it'll be pumpkin spice season. All things pumpkin spice will be upon us.

But we really know what you're thinking. How does it taste?

Although this is one of the more peculiar pumpkin spice products on the market, surprisingly, the general consensus was that the flavor really wasn’t bad. It certainly had that soft texture that anyone who’s had Spam will be familiar with, as well as the expected salty, porky Spam flavor. Cinnamon, clove, allspice and nutmeg shared center stage with the rich and savory Spam flavor, however, along with a hint of sweetness. (The Daily Meal)

Think sweet, rich, savory breakfast sausage/ham flavor? Salty too? Hey, you like it when it's maple flavored right?

For you adventurous types, when can you get it and where?

On September 23rd and it will only be available for purchase via Spam.com and Walmart.com. Honestly, I truly expect it to sell out. Especially in Hawaii and Minnesota. They love it there. Don't believe me?

These SPAM FACTS will blow your mind.
