Before you get ready to have those chips and salsa with dinner tonight, you may actually want to do some investigating. There is a massive recall going on right now, after some salsa was just recently found with wood particles inside of it.
Nobody wants to ingest that. On top of it, that can cause serious damage to you and your insides with that.

San Juan Salsa Company, has just issued a recall on several of their salsa products, over concerns of potential wood pieces being found inside of the salsa. The brand of salsa being recalled was exclusively sold at Costco stores.

The contamination can be linked to cilantro from SupHerb Farms, which recalled 96,000 pounds of of cilantro for possibly containing wood fragments. The salsa was produced from December 19th, 2024 to March 17th of 2024. No consumer complaints have been reported with this product at the time. The company believes that some of the processing may remove some contaminations.
Product Details
The Salsa was old as San Juan Salsa Company Medium Salsa, and inside of 32 oz containers. Best by-dates could include February 27th to May 22nd of 2025.
