Planned Power Outage in Potterville This Weekend

Here's a big heads up for everyone living in Potterville as Consumers Energy is going to shut off power to some in the area. The reason for the power outage is so that electric system improvement work can be done, according to the WILX.

The power outage is going to begin at midnight on Sunday and last through 4 AM on the same night. The outage will be stretching from Strange Highway to the north, Island Highway to the south, North Cochran Road to the west, and Canal Road to the east. The power outage should only affect 2,000 homes, and if your home is going to be affect by the outage, you should have gotten a post card or message. If the electrical work can't be done Sunday, it will be done on Monday at the same time.
