So this weekend, a new challenge hit the interweb. On Facebook. And it does not involve eating tide pods or anything silly or dangerous. Actually, it's pretty cool.

The “How Hard Did Aging Hit You,” Challenge. Take your 1st profile pic and your current profile pic and brace yourself. AND NO FILTERS!

You are challenged to go back to that VERY FIRST profile pic and post it side by side with you most recent profile pic. And be as tempted as you may, NO FILTERS! No airbrushing no nothing. Au naturale!

I did it and am happy to report, I think your boy did pretty well. My first pic was from back in 2009 and I was living in Anchorage working in radio there. Amazingly enough, I had been there two years and was working on my weight then. While younger and not on the "AS" heavy side, I do like where I am now in 2019. And am truly thankful to my father in heaven where I am now. I am still working on that ole spare tire in my mid section. And have been doing so since October. Down 40 pounds or so. And I have about another 20 or so to go. And at 48...yeah...Uncle Large is 48, I am blessed to say I don't look like what I've been through.
