Items surrendered at airports, seized property and unused office furniture from the state will all be available for public purchase this weekend which means get some quality and cheap gifts just in time for some holiday shopping.

Michigan's state surplus store is hosting a one-day sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 12. The store is located at 3111 W. St. Joseph St. in Lansing.

Included among the items available Saturday include Beats by Dre headphones; a guitar; computer equipment, chairs and even a Canon camera. There are also fashion accessories like hats, watches, and belts

"We used to have these sales several times a year," Carrie Rambo, manager of the state's surplus program said. "This is the first time we have had the sale since 2012.

Items range in price from $1 to $400.
