I wrote yesterday how Mars can now be seen in the night sky very well this week and summer. But now another planet will be seen in the night throughout the summer. If you were wondering what planet it is......its Saturn! The planet that is two planets away from the Earth will start to glow in the southern sky too.

Saturn won't be as bright as Mars or red, but it will have a yellow glow for most of the summer.

Another good thing about both of them being in view is that you will be able to use Mars to also find Saturn. Saturn will be in the southeastern part of the sky so find Mars, which will be the only red star in the sky, and Saturn will be just to the left twinkling yellow.
