Mile Recall Hitting Michigan Fridges

Heads up, folks! There’s another recall making its way through Michigan, and this time it involves LACTAID Milk—specifically the 96 oz containers. HP Hood LLC is pulling five varieties of these containers because they might have trace amounts of almonds that weren’t mentioned on the label.

Thankfully, no illnesses have been reported yet, but better safe than sorry.

The recall is targeting containers with the code 51-4109 P2 and certain Best By Dates. You can find that info on the top center of the carton, so definitely check your fridge if you’ve purchased LACTAID Milk recently.

These cartons were shipped between September 5th and 18th to retailers all across Michigan and other states.

This issue popped up during routine maintenance checks, and while it’s not affecting a massive number of products, it’s serious for anyone allergic to almonds.
