We usually have the unpleasant task of telling you about horrible weather. More snow. More ice. You know the drill.

THIS TIME, we bring you good news. And if only for a day. And it comes with a caveat.

Temps this week will be increasing. Into the UPPER 60'S?

Tuesday, mostly sunny and a high of 43.

Wednesday, showers likely and a high of 47 (that's right, rain but ALMOST 50 people).

Then Thursday gets completely out of hand.

We're looking at breezy, wet conditions. But get this, A HIGH NEAR 65.

Nice right? Don't get too excited.

We're back to clouds and rain, and mid 30's to upper 40's by the weekend.

And speaking of the weekend, ST. PATRICK'S DAY IS ON A SUNDAY THIS YEAR.

Coincidentally, Selection Sunday is also this weekend.

So a little sunshine, a lot of basketball, and shamrocks and shenanigans this weekend.

Celebrate responsibly. Break out the shorts for Thursday. And your umbrellas and "kiss me I'm Irish" gear for Sunday.
