This is going to be helpful for you especially if you are traveling anywhere in Michigan this weekend. According to WILX, the the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is removing lane restrictions on nearly 70%, or 90 out of 130 construction projects, on their road and bridge construction. The stoppage will being at 3 p.m. Friday, May 24, and continuing until 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.

Now when you are driving through suspended construction areas always drive carefully and slowly as there will probably be equipment and some lane changes left over. There will be several areas of note that will still be active construction zones. Most of them are North and West of Lansing with most west happening on I-96 and North of Lansing there are a few construction zones in the Norther Lower Pennisula and Lower U.P.

You can see all of the remaining construction zones here.
