Many Businesses Closing Early Because of Weather

A lot of businesses and organizations have decided to close early today/tonight because of the predicted deteriorating road conditions due to the winter storm. Some of the closings that I saw on Facebook today include all locations of the Capital Area District Libraries (including the moblie lab), Overdrive won't be open tonight, Envie in downtown Lansing is closed tonight for dinner service, Meat BBQ said they'll be closing at 4 pm and there's plenty more.

Area schools are cancelling their Saturday events as well. According to WILX, the Lansing School District has cancelled all of their Saturday events, the City of Lansing has closed their community centers and have also cancelled their Saturday events. Obviously, if you can stay home this afternoon and/or tonight, please do so. The roads are very slippery. If you can't stay home, please drive safely!
