Major Fire at Sundance Chevrolet in Grand Ledge Destroys Cars, Building

We first reported a major fire at Sundance Chevrolet in Grand Ledge shortly after midnight on Thursday.  As morning breaks we have the latest, including reports by residents of cars "blowing up."

Grand Ledge Fire Chief Rodney Vandecastelle says there were no injuries despite word that 20 to 30 cars were destroyed along with the used car building known as "the log cabin."  Images on WILX-TV show cars that are completely burnt out.

There's no word yet on how the fire started.  Sundance is expected to be open today.
