Lil Nas X and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos seemingly became great friends overnight.

On Tuesday night (Aug. 20) the Daily Mail reported that the artist, whos hit song "Old Town Road" was recently dethroned from the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, was spotted backstage with the billionaire at Amazon's Post-Prime Day concert. Lil Nas X uploaded photos of himself with Bezos and Katy Perry. It looks like Nas X had fun holding on to Katy Perry's dog Nugget and letting Bezos try on his black, graffiti-themed jacket.

"I am the now the new owner of amazon and I stole Katy Perry’s dog," Lil Nas X wrote in his Instagram post.

Lil Nas X couldn't leave the building without performing his historic song "Old Town Road." The Country Trap artist and rising act CYN both hit the stage before headliner Katy Perry closed out the concert.

His appearance at the Prime Day concert in Seattle marks his first performance after "Old Town Road" lost its place at the No. 1 spot to Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy." Billboard reports that "Old Town Road" dropped down to the No. 3 slot behind Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's song "Señorita." Lil Nas X's record-breaking single ran its course at the top of the charts for 19 weeks.

Amazon tends to host concerts for its 45,000 Seattle-based employees after the retail website's Prime Day annual online shopping sale. Of course, Lil Nas X performed his breakout hit but he also performed other songs like "Bring U Down."
