According to the Lansing State Journal, Betty Boop tops a Christmas tree decorated with stuffed animals.  There's ET, Scooby Doo and the Care Bears.

They're all part of the seventh Festival of Trees, which opens to the public Saturday, Dec. 8 at Turner-Dodge House.

Hours of work goes into these trees.  A lot of people hand make all this stuff.  There are trees in purple, pink, white and green, tall trees, small trees and thin ones, about 50 trees in all.

People come from all over to decorate trees in the festival.  It's a great way to showcase your organization.  It gives visibility to the Turner-Dodge House, and it's a great holiday family-friendly event.
