Lansing’s Own Stars at QB in Quick Lane Bowl

Last Year in the Bahama Bowl Cooper Rush (the former Lansing Catholic quarterback) threw five fourth-quarter touchdown passes in a 49-48 loss. Now you can see Rush and Central Michigan University (7-5) face Minnesota in Detroit’s Quick Lane Bowl, at 5 p.m. on ESPN2. Minnesota brings a tough defenseand gives CMU a shot at beating a Big Ten this year. Also the game being played in Detroit means a home game-like crowd tonight.

And since you are stuck inside, other games today are at 2:30, the Military Bowl has Navy (9-2 and ranked No. 21) and Pittsburgh (8-4), which is coached by Pat Narduzzi, formerly of Michigan State. And Finally, at 8:15, the Denver Broncos (10-4) host the Cincinnati Bengals (11-3).
