Lansing’s New City Hall Development To Go

Before Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero leaves office he also approved a plan to sell the current City Hall building to a developer. What the developer will do is transform it into a hotel.

The only thing about this plan is that it does not include plans to relocate the attached police station, city lockup and district court. But under this current plan, Lansing City Hall will be moved to the former Lansing State Journal building (corner of Lenawee Street and Grand Avenue).
