Only One Michigan Restaurant Made Yelp’s Top 100 List for 2026

Yelp did it again. It put together another list of awesome restaurants. And this time, it was a big one.

Yelp Releases Its 2026 Top 100 U.S. Restaurants List

Yelp released its 13th annual list of the 'Top 100 US Restaurants' for 2026. This list is jam packed, and not just ultra fancy restaurants with Michelin-starred ratings — although there is a Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse on the list.

This list is full of all kinds of dining options — from diners to steakhouses to food halls and everything in between. It highlights the highest-reviewed restaurants in the U.S.

Which States Had the Most Restaurants?

There are 32 different states (plus the District of Columbia) that made the list.

You'll notice that not every state is on this list. Plus, some states only have one restaurant on the list. Michigan is one of those states.

The Only Michigan Restaurant to Make the List

The only Michigan spot to make the cut for the best restaurants of 2026 is Butcher's Union in Grand Rapids.

Butcher’s Union came in at No. 11 on the list. It's known for its meat and whiskey, and has a rating of 4.6 stars with over 1,400 reviews. They also do a pretty mean brunch, too.

My friends and I had a great girls night here last weekend. It was bustling and busy but Sam gave us great service and recommendations and we did not feel rushed at all even with a bigger group. Try the bone marrow it is delicious! There is a cocktail for all tastes on the menu. I enjoyed the old fashioned. Overall I'd love to come back for the food, drinks, and vibes and I understand why this place books up fast. Also it is located in a fun area where you can hop around neighboring bars for drinks afterwards. Highly recommend!
