
Great Harvest Bakery & Café Opens in Downtown Lansing
Lansing foodies didn't have to wait too long for the latest restaurant to open its doors.
There is, undoubtedly, a restaurant boom happening in the greater Lansing area this year. We're only part way through 2025 and we've already seen over 35 restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and more open their doors. Now, we can add another one to the list.
New Bakery and Café Open in Downtown Lansing
It officially opened this week: Great Harvest Bakery & Café.
Opening day for Great Harvest Bakery & Café was Thursday, September 25, right on Washington Avenue in Downtown Lansing. Great Harvest opened in the former location of Z!Eats (formerly known as Zoup!).

Z!Eats closed very suddenly near the end of July 2025, and in the same breath, announced that Great Harvest would be taking over that spot.
Great Harvest Locations in Greater Lansing Area
The Great Harvest name is probably familiar to those in the greater Lansing area, as there are two bakery locations: one in west Lansing on Saginaw and one in Okemos on Grand River Avenue.

The Great Harvest Bakery & Café serves up a slew of freshly made food and drinks, along with baked goods and other items available for purchase. The items range from house-made jams and jellies, to other sauces and spreads, kitchen tools, and a whole lot more.
