The Antique Village Near Allen in Hillsdale County
If you’re searching for Preston's Antique Gaslight Village in the Michigan town of Allen, it’s now known as Le Vintage Rose Antique Village, at 8651 W. Chicago Road.
The more than 20 buildings that were once known as Preston's Antique Gaslight Village have been carefully restored to reflect the era from 1835-1925 era.
On the grounds of this mock village are at least 25 buildings that include an 1840 schoolhouse, a doctor’s office from 1885, an 1890s Methodist Church that is available for weddings and other events, an 1895 summer kitchen, a 1900 general store, a 1902 Sears and Roebuck catalog house, candy shop, hat shop, and a few more schools.

The main building is – in my opinion – the coolest: it’s a renovated, former stagecoach stop, that includes living quarters.
This is one of those places you don’t think about when planning a Michigan roadtrip, so now you can. Once again, it’s located at 8651 W Chicago Rd. In the town of Allen, “The Antique Capital of Michigan”.
They are open Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Check oiut the gallery below for some photos...
