One of those beloved breweries known for great beer and food including duck nachos is changing it's name after almost 14 years.

Here's Why This Popular Grand Rapids Brewery Is Changing It's Name

Brewery Vivant located at 925 Cherry St. SE announced on Tuesday that they are rebranding and changing their name.

Currently known as Brewery Vivant, they will now go by Vivant Brewery + Spirits.

Why Is Brewery Vivant Changing It's Name?

The name change comes as the brewery continues to grow and change.

Vivant Brewery + Spirits will now offer an expanded beverage program, with bourbon whiskey produced in-house in collaboration with Live Fire Republic and clear spirits from sister company Broad Leaf Brewery + Spirits.

I was recently at Brewery Vivant with my wife Lindsey and tried several of their cocktails while hanging on the patio and they tasted great.

I'm excited to try all the new drinks they're working on.

Vivant Brewery + Spirts Celebrating Rebranding With Event This Weekend

This Saturday Vivant Brewery + Spirts is hosting an event called Cocktails On The Coast.

People attending will get to try new craft cocktails and a special menu.

I'm bummed I can't make it to the party on Saturday but it sounds like a great time!
