My buddy Steve was out with his kids this past weekend and posted these on social media. Am I late or have they BEEN making Reese's peanut butter pumpkins?

Yup, we're at about the August midway point. And of course, this is the time of the year where we are usually ok with seeing this stuff. Even a little early.

However, we're still trying to decide how the kids are going back to school.

In addition to a bevy of safety concerns, Halloween is big business in America. And with looming cancellations, it could be a big blow to the economy.

In fact, researchers say Halloween falls just behind Christmas with over $9 billion being spent in 2019. Experts say they expect that number to be slashed in half, with candy companies making adjustments to their production and retailers preparing for major losses with fewer costumes being sold this season. Plus, many popular attractions will be forced to shut down. (WCNC)

We do know Halloweekends @ Cedar Point have already been cancelled.

A new “Tricks and Treats Fall Fest” will be introduced starting September 12. This event will take the place of HalloWeekends for 2020 only, and has been designed with unique entertainment, food and activities for all ages. This event will enable better social distancing and capacity management. You’ll hear more exciting details in the coming weeks. (Cedar Point)

Keep checking back. We'll keep you up to date on haunted attractions like Jackson Underworld and Shawhaven Haunted Farm. At present these appear to be proceeding as planned.
