How do you feel about camping?

To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan. I'm always down for an adventure but I don't dig sleeping in a tent or having to shower in a community bathroom. My version of camping is renting a place up north or staying in a camper where I have my own running water and air conditioning.

If you're like me and you like nature but you still want access to a shower, electricity, WiFi, and your own private bathroom, let me introduce you to "glamping."

Glamping is camping that includes more amenities than traditional camping.

Glamping in Niles, Michigan

When life gives you a chicken coop, repurpose it and turn it into a place to stay. That's exactly what this Michigan couple did. This unique barn is located near the Dowagiac creek in Niles, Michigan and sleeps four guests.

There's two different locations for sleeping. The coop itself has a queen-sized bed that sleeps two people. That's decked out with a TV, mini-fridge, microwave and TV.

A hop, skip, and a jump away there's a platform with a tent that has a double mattress and sleeps an additional two guests.

If you're worried about the outdoor plumbing, they've got you covered. You won't have to bring a bucket and a shovel to go to the bathroom because there's a private bathroom with a toilet and sink. They also have a private outdoor rain shower as well.
