Yes that's right, your name could be on the planet Mars. So even if you may never go there, your name will. The way that your name can get to Mars is onto a microchip that will ride to Mars on NASA’s Mars 2020 rover. According to WILX, the rover, which as yet is unnamed, is expected to launch next summer from Cape Canaveral, Fla., and reach Mars in February 2021.

There are about 10 million names on this microchip now, with over 1.3 million from the U.S. But the country with the most names on it is Turkey, with the U.S. coming in 3rd. So if you want your name on a planet that you will probably never be able to get on, this might be the thing to do.
