Get Ready for Buddy’s Pizza Opening in Lansing June 1

If you're a true pizza lover like I am, you will Love this! It's finally going to happen on June 1, Buddy's Pizza is opening its west Lansing location.

So looking forward to Buddy's grand opening. I remember a few years back that one of my friends recommended Buddy's Pizza to me.

So I took my family to a Buddy's Pizza outside of Lansing and really enjoyed their delicious pizza.

According to WILX, the Lansing store wa set to open March 19, but plans were put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The location at 5924 W. Saginaw Highway will open for curbside carryout only. It's Buddy's Pizza's third location outside of metro Detroit.

Speaking of pizza, does anyone remember My Cousin's Pizza on Armstrong in Lansing?

Back in my high school days, that was the hangout after every Friday night football game at Everett High School.

The gang would meet at My Cousin's Pizza and order several pizzas and then we would just sit around and talk about the football game. Those were the days!

From high school days to now, I've always been a pizza lover. That's why we're all excited about Buddy's Pizza opening soon.

By the way, Buddy's Pizza claims to have invented the original Detroit style pizza in 1946 at the Six Mile and Conant location in Detroit.

The restaurant will open on a modified curbside carryout schedule of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
