Free Pet Adoptions For Veterans This Week

Veterans Day is Sunday and to celebrate the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter is offering free adoptions. The shelter is offering free pet adoptions to veterans and active service members, along with members of their households, next week in honor of Veterans Day. The fees will be waived for Veterans, active duty, and family starting on Monday November 13 through November 17th.

In order to adopt, Veterans must bring in their military ID. The shelter is doing as having a pet can be good for Veterans after their service and they can also be good for Veterans that are suffering from PTSD.  The Ingham County Animal Shelter is at 600 Curtis St. in Mason. You can view all of the adoptable pets here.
