inches expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Michigan.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 7 PM EST Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibility, and use caution while driving. (Accuweather)

AND PLEASE, DON'T BE A FIRST SNOWFALL VICTIM!

It always happens. The first snowfall hits and people act like they forgot how to drive or what exactly all that white stuff is.

Remember to give yourself some extra time, give the other drivers some extra space, watch your speed (but let's not drive like super slow and scared), and DON'T BE OVERCONFIDENT cause you know...TRUCK!

Take your time, be careful, plan ahead. And be patient. Because even if you do drive carefully, someone else won't. And you'll probably be stuck in traffic as you drive past some folks who ended up in the ditch.

Might want to think about some winter tires while we're at it.
