Ok if you are going to be headed to Sleeping Bears next year just a heads up that the fee to enter is going up so be sure to have extra cash. According to UpNorthLive.com, the fees for the park will be increased by $5. The fee increase will be happening on January 1st and since we're already in a Michigan Winter you will most likely be paying the increased fee.

The New Fees will look like this; Park Entrance Pass- Per Private Vehicle - $25. Park Entrance Pass- Motorcycle - $20. Sleeping Bear Dunes Annual Park Entrance Pass - $45. Per Person Entrance Pass - $15.

The increase in the entrance fee is because it will help with the renovations of older parks as well as give visitor centers and other infrastructure to other National Parks. Also if you think that just Sleeping Bear Dunes is increasing their entrance fees they actually aren't the only one as about 117 National Parks will be increasing their fees for 2019.
