Do You Have These Johnsonville Sausages In Your Fridge? RECALL!
It's grilling season. However if you have these Johnsonville sausages in your fridge, the only place you should be putting them is in the trash. They could contain hard plastic.
From our friends at News 10, Your Breaking News & Weather Authority:
Johnsonville has recalled roughly about 95,000 pounds of their jalapeno cheddar smoked sausages.
The reason? Extraneous material. What's that mean?
The sausages were produced and packaged on March 12 and 13 and may be contaminated with "hard green plastic" pieces.
The following products are included in the recall:
-14-oz. film, vacuum packages containing “Johnsonville JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR Smoked Sausage” with a “Best By 06/09/2019” date on the back of the package.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 34224” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped nationwide and internationally.(WILX)
If you have them in your fridge, and this should go without saying, PLEASE DON'T EAT THEM.
Throw them away or return them to where you got them.
