We are in the Holiday Season and Christmas is upon us, I'm sure you are counting down the days, and there is no better way to celebrate it then to see all of the towns in Michigan that are really into the Christmas Spirit.

This Epic Christmas Road trip will only take place in the Lower Peninsula, sorry UP.

1. We start with the most festive and Christmas town in Michigan Frankenmuth, which will send you to a Christmas world like no other and you can get all of your Christmas needs with Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland.

2. Next you travel up north to Mackinaw City and Gaylord.  Make a stop at Gaylord’s famous Ice Tree, an annual downtown display that brings the holidays to life in a truly unique way. Then head up to edge of the Lower Peninsula to Mackinaw City and take a walk around the small town to see the lights, tree, and do some shopping as well. Also if it gets cold enough the Lake freezes which is cool to see.

3. Now you head back down a little west to Saugatuck and Marshall. Marshall's Christmas Parade may be down but Marshall is so merry and bright during the Christmas season that you'll think you are in a Christmas Snow globe. In addition, Saugatuck's small town will get you more into the Christmas spirit as the lights and Christmas cheer spread around the town.

4. You head back East to Holly and Rochester, in Holly if you make it in time to stop by for the Holly Dickens Festival or marvel at the holiday lights throughout town. You end you trip in Rochester which has one of the brightest and majestic light displays in all of Michigan
