A loaded gun was brought to a Traverse City school by an 11-year-old boy along with a kill list.

The Kingsley Middle School fifth grader brought the gun to school in September and another student told the teacher about the weapon. There were no injuries caused by the gun, it was not shot at school.

Thursday in Grand Traverse County, the boy was placed on probation for two years after he plead guilty to carrying a concealed weapon.  The boy is required to resume his education, which will most likely occur online.  He is also required to attend counseling sessions.

The school officially expelled the student who turns 12 in April. He can have his conviction set aside if he can stay out of trouble for the next five years.
