Before you go to that cabinet and get ready for a midday or late night snack, you should be aware of a popular recall hitting Michigan. This time, the recall was initiated after metal pieces were found inside of the snack.
Check your cupboards. This could pose issues to your health.
ALERT: Popular Snack Being Recalled in Michigan
If you have any beef sticks in your cupboards, you should do a once over on them, as 30,000 pounds of Chomp beef and turkey sticks are currently under recall here in the state of Michigan.

The recall was initiated after two consumers complained about finding metal inside of their beef sticks.
What To Look For in the Recall:
Over 29,541 pounds of snack sticks are being recalled from Idaho Smokehouse Partners.
The recall includes products sold from January 16th through January 23,2025 with an EST code of '6220A' and the turkey sticks have 'P6220A'.
1.15 oz "Original Beef" sticks (sold in 12-count pouches, 8-count pouches, and single packs)
1.15 oz "Original Turkey" sticks (sold in single packs)
Michigan, as well as over 20 other states are included in the recall. The products were made available in Costco stores.
If you have any of the affected products, you are asked to throw them away immediately or return the product for a full refund.
It is not advised to eat the product, as metal inside the body can cause issues in your stomach as well as do serious long-term damage if consumed.
