Anna Paquin Dyes Her Hair Purple, Blue + Teal [PHOTO]

Anna Paquin just switched up her look in a dramatic new way -- by dying her platinum locks purple, blue and teal. Whoa!

The 'True Blood' actress, who appears to have taken a page (or several) from Demi Lovato's book, shared her bold new style in an Instagram photo last night (June 16), simply captioning the shot: "Happy early birthday to ME."

Paquin also tweeted about her hot new change, praising her colorist and reveling in the fact that she fulfilled her "teen dream of being a mermaid." The actress even tweeted her husband, 'True Blood' director Stephen Moyer, to get his take on her brand-new hue.

How sweet is his response?!

While dying her locks such vivid colors may be a pretty daring move, we think that the actress more than pulls off the look, giving her a true ethereal, almost fairy-like glow.
