Big karaoke fan? Me too. I never thought I would miss going to the bar to sing karaoke, but I do. There's nothing better than belting out your favorite song when you're in your feelings and need to blow off some steam. Regardless of whether you sound like Carrie Underwood or a screaming goat, karaoke is always a good time.

Have you always wanted to karaoke but have stage freight? Believe it or not, I feel that. Yeah, I know, I talk on the radio for a living, but karaoke makes me nervous. It's nerve wracking getting up there and having a bunch of people you don't know stare at you. The key is choosing the right song. If you pick a song everyone loves and wants to sing a long to, then you're not singing alone.

Since the pandemic started, I've been wondering when karaoke would come back because singing at the top of my lungs in the shower isn't cutting it anymore. I'm sure my neighbors are probably sick of listening to me sing the same song over and over again too. How cool would it be if some places in the Lansing area did what this bar in Ontario, Canada did? They put up what looks like shower curtains around the singer in order to keep everyone safe. Cause we all know that when you get a little carried away singing your jam, spit comes flying out of your mouth. Which makes the shower curtain a great idea! Do you see it? The light at the end of the tunnel? Maybe karaoke will come back sooner than we think.
